Many municipalities delegate administrative technology tasks to various staff in their organization.  This can be dangerous in an ever changing technical environment when smaller software companies are being purchased by much larger ones and an increased amount of State audits are focusing on IT security and compliance.  In addition, State and Federal regulations require compliance in order to manage human resources, process credit cards, manage federal housing programs and even to access criminal databases for Police and Court operations.  

• Define and execute a clear IT plan, encompassing infrastructure, applications, budget, personnel, project and outsourced IT technician management.

• Define, manage and ensure compliance to, Capital and Operational expenditure budgets by analyzing past expenses and prioritizing future expenses and implementing project management of Capital projects.

• Manage the design and deployment of IT infrastructure, such as the servers, data and voice communications, end user devices, printers and email.

• Assist Departments manage the selection, implementation and configuration of software applications.

• Analyze and re-engineering business processes. Identifying current issues and recommending alternative processes and applications.

• Provide leadership and act as a mentor to staff.

• Manage compliance. Conduct software audits to confirm licensing compliance. Implementing processes to ensure ongoing compliance.

We will also work with your local IT consultant and/or staff to identify and solve weak areas that cause negative IT internal control audits.
